Abstract: The objectives of this study were to investigate the effect of yogic practices on height, eye vision and mental well being among
school children. The subjects of the study were 80 male students (40 subjects were kept on Experimental group and 40 subjects were
kept in Control group. Out of 40 subjects of Experimental group 20 subjects were kept in Height/Mental well being and rest of the 20
subjects were kept in Eye vision. The same division of subjects was followed with control group) from D.S.INTER COLLEGE,
Aligarh. Age ranged the student between 14-17 years. Criterion measures for this study were different test items such as: height by
Stadiometer, eye vision by eye test (in visual acuity) and mental well beings by The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale
(WEMWBS) (in rating) were administrated. To find out significant difference between two groups i.e. control and experimental
groups in each variable and group (control group and experimental group), Paired sample t-test was employed. The result of the data
reveals the significant difference was found in experimental group in each variable (height, eye vision and mental well beings) and
insignificant difference was found in control group except in height.

from setter and 30 from libero). The data that were collected from the subjects were treated statistically. The
purpose of the study was to find out whether there was any significant difference in achievement motivation for
the inter collegiate level attacker, setter, libero of the volley ball players. In order the achieve the purpose of the

used and the data were collected from the subjects. To assess the level of achievement motivation the sports
achievement motivation questionnaire designed and validated by Mr. Kamlesh was used the data were collected
from the subjects. The collected data were put into statistical analysis. The level of significance was set at 0.05
levels to find out the significance difference between means one way analysis of variance was used. Attacker
players have significant higher achievement motivation scores as compared to setter and Libero players at inter
collegiate men volleyball players. (F=3.4596, p

The t-test was applied for the analysis of data obtained from the subjects on selected variables having significant level at Mental Health of yogic male students was found better in comparison of non-yogic students at 0.05 level of significance. The comparative study could be further analyzed for other groups, but this work is limited to yogic and non-yogic male students
