It contributes to the knowledge base of professionals and helps in preparing them to achieve excellence. Library science is one field which has changed tremendously in the past 20 years which makes it more challenging than any other profession. The library science course will help in designing and improving libraries. In the digital age, the importance of librarians and library science is increasing.
